ACTION
The exhibition by Harun Antakyalı, who is to be the final guest-artist of Atelier Marvy’s artist residency programme is entitled ‘Action’. Paintings, sculptures and examples of streetart will figure among the works of Harun Antakyalı, who will be residing at Club Marvy, where he will complete his works for this exhibition. About Harun Antakyalı: He defines himself as a ‘city person’. The metropolis and streets always appear as the main theme of his works. He doesn’t depict streets, he transfers them indoors. The material he adopts is concrete, which is a “must”, an inevitable material of the city. He is an artist who first brings out art into the street, only to trasport it back indoors.
